SEEP Tanzania program integrates digital learning with environmental education. The SEEP Digital platform is a cornerstone of this program, offering students and educators invaluable resources to foster environmental awareness and stewardship. The SEEP Tanzania booth at the event was a hub of activity, drawing attention to the program’s ongoing efforts in Dar es Salaam and its broader impact on community awareness about environmental issues. We engaged more than 1200+ people including students, teachers and Kigamboni communities who attended this event.

Another June event was a school outreach and seminar at Miburani Secondary School in Temeke. This event saw the engagement of 23 dedicated teachers and over 200 eager students. Through interactive sessions and insightful discussions, SEEP mentors shared their knowledge and passion for environmental conservation, inspiring the next generation of environmentalists and leaders.

As SEEP Tanzania continues its mission, the success of the World Environment Day event serves as a testament to the program’s impact and potential. By digitizing learning and making environmental education accessible to all, SEEP Tanzania is paving the way for a more informed and engaged community. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by the participants at Kigamboni and Miburani Secondary School are encouraging signs of a brighter, SEEP Tanzania impact.

In conclusion, the SEEP Tanzania program is set to create a meaningful impact on waste management among the youth in Dar es Salaam by engaging students from 50 schools through innovative learning and project-based activities. By harnessing the power of the SEEP Digital platform, students will not only acquire crucial knowledge but also actively participate in designing and presenting their ideas, fostering a spirit of competition and collaboration amongst schools.
