Call for Applications: Online Zero Waste Academy in Tanzania, 2023
Are you passionate about creating a zero-waste future for our planet? Do you dream of a waste-free city or community? If you answered yes, then this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! Nipe Fagio is thrilled to unveil the call for applications for an online Zero Waste Academy in Tanzania! The Zero Waste Academy aims to empower existing and aspiring Zero Waste Implementers with the knowledge, concepts, and tools necessary to kickstart or enhance Zero Waste Systems in their cities and communities.
The Zero Waste Academy is a learning program designed by GAIA and Nipe Fagio. The Zero Waste Academy will provide existing and future Zero Waste Implementers with the needed concepts and tools to start or improve existing Zero Waste implementation in their respective cities and communities. The learning program will run online from early August to late September 2023 with the possibility of attending in-person modules in October 2023. Graduates from Africa will be invited to join the regional Zero Waste Coalition to consistently exchange experiences and opportunities moving forward. Graduates from elsewhere will be connected with Zero Waste implementers in their regions.
What to Expect from the Zero Waste Academy:

- Online Community Engagement: Connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, all committed to making a positive environmental impact. Collaborate, share ideas, and inspire each other to bring about meaningful change.
- Practical Applications: Acquire practical skills that can be directly applied to your local context. Whether you’re a community group or organization, the Zero Waste Academy equips you to take concrete steps towards a zero-waste future.
